The Year 10 Hospitality & Catering had the wonderful opportunity to visit Summit Hospitality at the Brampton in Newcastle Under Lyme on Thursday 15th March to enhance their subject knowledge of the industry and career pathways in Hospitality & Catering. Summit have a long history of providing tailored conferencing and business solutions. The group listened attentively to the presentation about the business from the General Manager and tea lady as well experiencing and enjoying the kind refreshments that were on offer. This was followed by a tour of the kitchen and preparation areas and a question and answer session with the Head Chef. Two Students also had the chance to show off their culinary skills by making a batch of Ginger biscuits. The students enjoyed it so much that they did not want to leave. It was definitely an invaluable experience for the group.
