Roald Dahl Day

To celebrate Roald Dahl Day, 3 classes from Year 7 joined a live broadcast from the Dahl Museum. Students learned about Dahl’s time as a spitfire pilot and got to see his transplanted hip bone, which he kept on his writing desk to inspire him! They also had the chance to draw alongside famous illustrator Quentin Blake, as he brought Roald’s crazy creature, the Hornswoggler, to life.
