Haywood leading the way

Haywood Academy hosted the City Primary School Cross Country event on Monday 17th October. Over 100 students participated in the Year 3 and Year 4 Boys’ and Girls’ races. Haywood’s PE leaders organised the whole event to a very high standard. Key roles included: directing parents to park, setting up the course, meeting and greeting parents, communicating and directing parents to the start and toilets, registering the schools, providing school teachers with a map of the course, directing students around the course, motivating students throughout and supporting the presentation for the winners.  All leaders did an outstanding job and represented the school impeccably.
