CLT Awards Evening – a fantastic success

On Tuesday 16th June, the Victoria Hall hosted the first City Learning Trust’s Awards’ Evening which welcomed students, parents and staff from across five schools.  The evening celebrated the achievements and successes of over 200 young people and shared stories of personal triumph and exceptional talent.  Joining the celebrations were Norman Smurthwaite, Joan Walley and Dame Julia Cleverdon who were all astounded by the successes of our young people.  Chief Executive, Carl Ward commented that the students were ‘fantastic role models and should be very proud of themselves’ and hopes that the awards’ evening inspires students to, ‘strive for success, seize the opportunities they are offered, and achieve their dreams’.
