Sixth Form Opening Evening – Launch and Careers Event

Businesses, students and parents welcome

This is your invitation to join us for the Haywood Academy Sixth Form Centre Open Evening, Launch and Careers Event.

The brand new Haywood Academy Sixth Form Centre will open in September 2015!

The exiting £2.1 million development will transform Burslem Town Hall and its surroundings into a brand new state-of-the-art Sixth Form Learning Centre. The Sixth Form Centre will inspire young people and offer first class support to help them succeed and progress into university, apprenticeships or work.

The centre will offer first class facilities and first class support a full range of A Levels, BTECs and Maths/English support. We are working in partnership with employers including our sponsor Steelite International to develop the centre so that we prepare our students for real apprenticeships and job opportunities. We have excellent links with universities and a supportive careers team and staff to support students into meaningful careers.

We will have a unique range of work-related and Work Based Training options with excellent opportunities offered by large and small businesses, with progression routes available. The new development will help to regenerate the Burslem area and will take a brand new and innovative approach towards Higher Education with employability skills and progression at the heart of everything that we do.

Come along to the open evening on 19 November at 6pm and see for yourself. Please use this link to book your place on the open evening.
