Student of the Week: Jasmin Nahar

This week’s Student of the Week goes to Jasmin Nahar in Year 11.  Jasmin recently won a competition to design a poetry book cover. The book is called “Watching Wildlife: A collection of verse by the people of Staffordshire”.  The book contains 64 pages of inspiring poems by 32 poets. From fieldfares and swifts, to bees and the North Norfolk coast – the poems are sometimes humorous, sometimes sentimental, but always emotive.

It is believed it to be the first such book to be produced by an RSPB local group in the country.

You can find out more by visiting the North Staffs RSPB website:

Well done Jasmin.
