A message from The Principal to Year 6 students and parents.

Welcome to our virtual open event for current Year 6 students and their parents and carers. For a flavour of what life is like at Haywood Academy, take a look at our video below which includes presentations from Mr Dawes-The Principal, Mr Ashton-Year 7 Performance Leader as well as interviews with our new Year 7 students talking about their experiences at Haywood so far. You will also be able to see a range of the exciting opportunities available to students who become a part of the Haywood Academy Community.

We would like to introduce you to our ‘Student Top Team’. Our Head Boy, Head Girl and their Deputies will tell you about some of the exciting parts of the Academy.

Year 7 students have the opportunity to visit Loch Eil in Scotland as part of our enrichment programme. Have a look at some of the adventurous activities they got up to last year.

Ensuring that our students are supported at every step of their learning journey is an important part of Haywood Academy.
