Laura Billington

Assistant Principal

Teachers should bring out the best in students and I believe that the very best teachers can awaken a real joy in creative expression and a thirst for knowledge that can last a lifetime. I remember the teachers that taught me, and the opportunities I had and I look to create those now for our students.

My Haywood experience started in 2007 as a Business and Information Communication Technology teacher. I have always been heavily involved with pastoral care and took on the role of Year 11 Performance Leader for the 2013/14 school year. Haywood is a wonderful place to work and I feel a great sense of pride in supporting our students through their journey.
