Aimee O’Dea

Assistant Principal

Having taught English for the last 13 years, 8 of those at Haywood, I firmly believe that a high level of literacy is one of the most valuable skills that we can instil in our students. Being able to read fluently, write clearly and speak confidently means that our students are equipped to succeed in all aspects of their life as well as being fully prepared for their futures.

At Haywood we work hard to develop these skills through a curriculum that is interesting and engaging; recognising that the world  students inhabit is ever changing and developing. The success of our students is at the heart of all we do and it is through our relationships with them that we enable them to achieve their best.
