Mac’s Place

Mac’s Places aim to improve children and young people’s sexual health, helping to reduce teenage pregnancy rates and sexually transmitted infections. They support pregnant teenagers and teenage parents, and HIV-positive schoolchildren.

Mac’s Places contribute to an improvement in children and young people’s mental health, increase their motivation and self-esteem and help them to achieve better school results. Reducing the number of young smokers is also a MAC’s Place goal.

Tunstall School Nurse Drop In Clinic

The school nurse is  available to talk about any health or emotional well-being concern, at Tunstall Primary Care Centre, Alexandra Park, every Monday 3pm-4.30 pm. Appointments can be made but are not always necessary.
