Big Business – Work Based Learning 2017-18

Our fantastic new cohort of Work Based Learning Students for 2017-2018 have been busy visiting local businesses as part of the 4 Week Curriculum. They have had the opportunity to paint walls with PM Training, practice line marking with WJ North, make a Lego City at Synectics Solutions, learn about resilience with AutoNet and find out about Health and Safety with Steelite.

Students have been able to undertake workshops with Barclays Life Skills, Mike Grocott and NCS. The highlight with NCS was to see the student’s enjoying a number of different activities taking them out of their comfort zones and even turning their hands at Marketing by creating their own TV adverts!
