On Friday the 24th March students will be participating in red nose day. They will be able to come to school in non-uniform for contributing a pound to the cause. Some year groups have identified themes with Year 7 dressed as superheroes and Year 9 dressing for a pyjama party. Activities will be going on in form time where students can contribute more money towards our comic relief total – year 11 will be having afternoon tea in Café Life. There will also be opportunity for more money to be raised at break time with Mr Bebbington leading on a “smash the melon challenge” and Mr Rutter and the PE department setting up sports challenges in the sports hall. A competition has been set amongst all the forms as to who can raise the most amount of money on the day. We will update you of the winning form and the overall total raised on the day.
