Student of the Week

This week’s ‘Student of the Week’ goes to Jamie Beardmore in Year 11.  After witnessing an accident involving a Year 8 student during lunch time, Jamie reacted maturely and quickly to ensure that the injured student was looked after and remained safe until First Aid trained staff arrived.  Jamie displayed a caring and thoughtful manner throughout.  Whilst accidents do happen, this sort of response by a student is why Haywood Academy is an extremely safe place to be.  Well done Jamie.
